cleaning of gold ornaments

I keep my gold ornaments in my Bank locker. Last week I had to go for a wedding party, so I went to get the ornament I found that it has turned black.please suggest me some tips to make it shine.

To clean tarnished gold ornaments boil with a pinch of turmeric and blue detergent powder in a steel vessel after boiling for 5 min. scrub with a tooth brush your ornaments will shine like new

You can soak the ornaments in half a cup of water with a little detergent which you use for clothes. Liquid detergent will be better. Leave it for half an hour and scrub with a tooth brush.
You can get the glittering back in them and will look new.
