Hi,

To solve this problem hot oil massage is the only way. Warm Coconut oil as Sucheta said with a little whole peppercorns. When it is hot to the touch apply it with cotton wool swab into the parted hair, through out the scalp. Then apply the remaining oil till the end of the hair. Massage your scalp with your fingers nicely in rotary motions. If you like cover your hair with towels dipped in hot water towels for about half an hour , then take your shampoo bath

I can tell you the reason for the dryness of your hair. Either you will be taking bath in hot water without applying oil or you do not have that habit at all of applying oil for your scalp and hair.

Drink lots of water, dehydration is another reason for dryness of the scalp.

Lice is one of the reasons for a itchy scalp, second reason is dandruff (seborrheic dermatitis), third reason is Psoriasis which not only effects the scalp but also the skin of other parts of the body with red patches and itchy feeling. Some of the major diseases are carried by the comb and razor.

Now, check out if your shampoo is containing Sodium Laureth (SLS), it dries the scalp and gives the itchy feeling by robbing the essential oil from it.

Rubbing your scalp with Neem Oil and leaving it for sometime and rinsing it with shampoo based with Neem will give relief.

Boil 2 cups of water and simmer the gas, add green leaves to it and put off the gas. After 15 minutes strain this mixture and apply to your scalp, leave for 15 to 20 minutes and rinse your hair with a mild Neem Shampoo. You will gt relief.

Use your dryer with great care, it contributes in weaking our scalp.

Always use mild shampoo with Tulasi or Neem base and never use a shampoo which has SLS as one of its ingredients.

Also never use the shampoo directly on your hair. Take a dab of it on your palm and mix it with water. Rinse your hair with warm or cold water and see to it that your hair is fully wet. Now apply the shampoo evenly and wait for 2 to 3 minutes and rinse it off completely.

Shampoo base left on your scalp will contribute to itchy scalp too.

Always have a final rinse with a good conditioner.
