Dear all,
Let us all share home made fresh juices in this thread. These can be stored in dry bottles and used whenever necessary. Most of these juices are made with sugar syrup. So whenever necessary, take 1/4 glass of that syrup and add 3/4th glass of water to it and drink it.

As these are home made, there is no need to worry of the preservatives added to the branded juices we get from shops.

This happens to be my favourite drink. My husband who hates ginger, also relishes the taste of this drink.

Ingredients:
Sugar 1¼ cups
Water 600 ml.
Freshly ground ginger paste ½ tsp.
Lemon Juice ½ cup

Method:
In a pan mix the water and sugar and bring it to one string consistency.
Add the ginger paste to it and remove from fire.
When it cools down add the lemon juice to it.
Cool and store in dry bottles.

When serving, add 2 tbspns of syrup to 1 glass of chilled water.

Aam ka Panna (Mango ka Panna)
Aam Panna is good drink for summer season. You can store it in the refrigerator and use it whenever needed.
Ingredients:
4 Raw Mangoes
Jeera (Cumin Seeds) 1 Teaspoon
Sugar 4 tablespoon
Kala Namak (Black Salt) 1 Teaspoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Red Chillli Powder 1-2 Teaspoon
Pudina (Mint leaves) chopped
3 Glass Water

Methods
Dry roast the Jeera Seeds in a pan (without any oil) and keep aside. Boil the whole mangoes (deseed) in water until soft. Once the mangoes have cooled down peel them. Remove all the pulp in a pot. Blend the pulp to a smooth paste, add all the spices. Add water and blend again. Add more water, sugar, salt or chilli powder as desired to adjust the taste.
Put it in the fridge for some time. Serve chilled with some chopped mint on top.

This is simple and delicious. You can take this either with salt and pepper or with sugar.

Ingredients:
Ripe Tomatoes - 4
Sugar - 3 spns
(If you are adding salt and pepper, just add it according to your taste)

Method:
Boil the tomatoes in water.
Deskin them and grind them into fine paste.
Add water to make it thinner.
Add sugar or salt and pepper according to your taste.

If you are adding salt and pepper, you can garnish it with mint and coriander leaves chopped finely.

This will serve 4

Fresh ripe mangoes - 2 (preferrably Banganapalli)
Sugar - (according to taste)

Deskin the mangoes, and remove the pulp. Add the mango pulp and sugar into a blender and make it a paste. (This will be thick so add water according to the thickness you prefer). After adding water if you feel the sweetness is less, add little more sugar).

Variations:
1. Add milk and vannila icecream to make milk shake

2. To make it more of a mango shake, instead of vannila ice cream add mango ice cream

3. Add thick unsour curd to it.

This will give 1/2 litre of concentrate:

Ingredients:

1 cup lime juice made out of 8 -10 lime.
1 cup water
2 cups sugar

Method:
Make a syrup with the sugar and bring it to boil. Allow the syrup to cool, and pour the lime juice into it through a strainer, stir well, pour into a dry bottle and refrigerate.

When serving, dilute with water and add ice.

Hi Rita,
I know you will crave for such foods at this time. But take less of this juice. You can take a sip of this whenever you get your morning sickness. I am happy that you enjoyed it.
