Are there ever any reasons for despair?
Can you see the moon’s cusp shining in your hair?
Love’s the reason for existence; breathe its air.
Do not wander in the corridors of doom.
Sorting tragedy from triumph isn’t wise.
Even tragedy is triumphant in clear eyes.
For the souls who nurture courage there’s a prize.
Walk the pathway to Self-knowledge with a smile.
Helen Keller, couldn’t hear or speak or see.
Yet she found a way to make her life complete.
From the sense of limitation she was freed.
With God as source, she never was alone.
Victor Frank confounded wicked evil minds.
Midst persecution he stayed sweet and kind.
Through faith in God he got out of mind’s bind.
He taught others to be brave midst fear and death.
Rosa Parks would not be moved by hate.
From Self-love she carved her fate.
She saw her duty and opened a locked gate.
She showed the world God’s bus holds seats for all.
Do not think you lack a mighty force.
Let go of limitation; find life’s source.
Channel your life toward a greater cause.
Break the bondage of hate and fear.
