Ingredients

1.Green chickpeas -100gm

2. 2 onion

3.Ginger , garlic and green chillies

4.Spiring onion bunch

5. corn floor

6. Tomato Sauce

7. Garam masala powder.

8.Turmeric powder.

9.Salt

Process

1.soak dry green chickpeas 100gm for 4-5 hours

2.Clean and pressure cook the soaked green chickpeas in cooker for 2- 3 whistle by adding little turmeric powder and salt to taste.

3.cut 2 onions into small pieces

4. cut 8-10 petals of garlic into small round shape

5. Grate the ginger about 1 tbsp.

6. cut 2-3 green chillies in to round shapes

7. clean and cut half bunch of the spring onion.

8. cut capsium into small pieces same as onion.

9. heat 2 tbsp of oil, add cutted onion and fry till little transparent, add cutted garlic and ginger + cutted chillies and fry little , add cutted capsicum and fry.

10.Remove and store the water of cooked and add the strained chickpeas to the fried masala(specified in point 9) and fry little.

11. Take 2-3 tbsp of corn floor and mix well with the stored chickpeas water , add 3-4 tbps of tomato sauce and stir well and add this solution to the frying chickpeas pan (Specified in point 9 and 10).Mix well and add the cutted spring onion and add little water to make little more curry

12. cook the above curry for 5 min in medium flame, add garam masala powder and salt to taste..

13. Serve hot with Rice or Roti or paratha

Swapna, I amke this curry but slighlty different version. Small changes can give a whole new outlook to the food. I will try it next weekend.

Green chick pea is my favorite. Swapna, good one dear.
I often eat boiled green chick pea with salt, onion and tomato.

yes i used to eat boiled green peas with vell( that vell -puri )

I like the idea of adding Capsicum and corn floor.
I never use these items when I cook choley.
