Loneliness!

Hey Gals!

Thought I will start my first post here with some 'not-so-poetic' poem!


LONELINESS!!!


ENVELOPED IN A COCOON OF LONELINESS -
I PUT ON A FACADE OF GLOW.
PAIN CLAWS AT MY HEART,
AS MY SOUL THIRSTS FOR THE MEANING TO MY EXISTENCE.

A WORLD OF DECEPTION I LIVE IN...
WHERE LOVE FINDS NO COMPANION.
I PRETEND TO BASK IN THE SUNSHINE OF LOVE,
EVEN AS MY SOUL THIRSTS FOR ITS VERY ESSENCE.

BENEATH THE BRAVADO - LIES TATTERED EMOTIONS....
BEHIND THE SMILE - LIES PAIN OF REJECTION.....
PAIN SO HUMONGOUS - A HEART TOO WEARY TO CARRY.
AS A SEA OF EMOTIONS BATTERED ITS LONELY SHORES -
EMOTIONS GAVE WAY TO TEARS.........
TEARS - THE LONE COMPANION OF PAIN!!!

Your poem enlightened the pain of many women in the world! A pain that is shared by her loneliness in a crowd! You have beaded the words so beautifully, it was gracefully blending with each line finally leading to the ocean of tears - her companion her loneliness and her silent tears!
