Hi Girls!

I have a sweet tooth, and have those cravings for something different each time! With a little bit of experimenting, can whip up a few desserts!

Here's the all-favorite Trifle!

Fruit Trifle

1 - Loaf Plain Sponge Cake
2 can - Mixed fruits in Sugar Syrup
1 pk. - Raspberry Jelly (set)
2 cups - Plain Custard, prepared
2 cups - Whipped Cream
Grated Chocolate
A few Glazed Cherries

Take a flat Rectangle or Square dish.
Slice Cake and put in single layer. Drizzle the sugar syrup from the fruit can on top of the cake (Syrup only). Now pour custard on top of this. Scatter fruits from the can. Scramble the jelly and layer it on the fruits. Spread the whipped cream and cover it all. Smoothen it, and decorate with Grated Choc. and Glazed cherries. Allow to set in fridge for 2 to 3 hrs. Cut into Squares and serve. U could also put some dry fruits with the canned fruits to give it a crunch!

Sounds good and loaded with calories. During festive time, calories are okay. Good one Ankie. You are balancing by posting high calorie food and also keeping us fit by posting soup recipes.
Ankie You rock

Hi Ankie, sorry to budge into your thread here, giving a simpler and less calorie version of the pudding.

Take slices of plain cake, top it with fruits that have been soaked in sugar syrup for about 4-6 hrs and top it with vanilla ice cream.
