The Iron Man as he was called, Sardar Vallabhai patel was a lawyer and this incident is regarding his profession.
Once a person was given a death sentence and Sardar Patel was was arguing for him.
At the same time a telegram reached Patelji stating that his wife passed away. He was shocked for a moment. He kept it in his pocket and didn't tell anyone about it. Nobody tried to ask about it, as in those days a telegram meant a news about someone's death. After remaining silent for 2 minutes he continued with his arguments. In the end the victim's death sentence was cancelled.
Later when the judge asked Patelji about the telegram, he said,"Your honour, the telegram is about my wife's death. A dead person can't be brought back to life but If I had not argued for this victim today, then I would have had to see two deaths today."

There are some pretty bizarre coincidences between Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy.
Here are a couple:
Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.
Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.
The names Lincoln and Kennedy each contain seven letters.
Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both of their wives lost their children while living in the White House.
Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both were shot in the head.
Both were shot with one bullet.
Both were rumored to be killed in a conspiracy.Neither was confirmed to be a conspiracy.
Lincoln was shot in the Ford Theater.
Kennedy was shot in a card made by the Ford Motor Company (a Lincoln no less)
Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's secretary was named Lincoln.
Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners.
Both successors were named Johnson.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.
Their first names both contain six letters.
John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.
Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names comprise fifteen letters.
Booth ran from the theater and was caught in a warehouse.
Oswald ran from a warehouse and was caught in a theater.
Both assassins were assassinated before their trials.
The only complete filming of Kennedy's assasination was shot by Abraham Zapruder.
The only complete account of Lincoln's assasination was written by John Zelfindorfer.
A week before Lincoln was shot, he was with friends in Monroe, Maryland.
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with his friend Marilyn Monroe.

Charlie Chaplin was probably the most well-known actor of the early 20th century. After adopting his trademark Little Tramp costume, consisting of baggy pants, bamboo cane, bowler hat, and over-sized shoes, Chaplin became a Hollywood icon
He was the first actor to appear on Time magazine. Chaplin appeared on the July 6, 1925 issue of Time magazine, a U.S.-based news magazine. He was the first actor ever to appear on the magazine known for its influential cover photo.
He won only one non-honorary Oscar, and it was 21 years “late”. Chaplin won an honorary Academy Award (”Oscar”) in 1929, during the first presentation of awards. Originally nominated in a couple of categories, his name was withdrawn and he was presented instead with a special award. He also received an honorary award in 1972. The next year, however, he won a Best Music Oscar for Limelight, a film he had made 21 years earlier, yet had not been shown in Los Angeles until 1972, thus enabling his nomination and subsequent award.
He had a fondness for young wives. Chaplin was married for 4 times. He was 29 and his first wife was 16 when they married. His second marriage was to 16-year-old Lita Grey, when he was 35. His third and possibly fictional marriage to Paulette Goddard, was rumored to have occurred when he was 47 and she was 28. He married his last wife, Oona O’Neill, daughter of playwright Eugene O’Neill, occurred when Oona had just turned 18. Chaplin was 54.
His corpse was stolen. Three months after Chaplin died on Christmas, 1977, his body was stolen in an effort to extort money from his family. Chaplin’s body was recovered 11 weeks later after the grave-robbers were captured. He is now buried under 6 feet of concrete to prevent further theft attempts.
He has an asteroid named after him. Four years after his death, Ukrainian astronomer, Lyudmila Karachkina, named an asteroid after him. Ms. Karachkina, discoverer of 131 asteroids, named one of them 3623 Chaplin. It resides in the asteroid “belt” between Mars and Jupiter and appears as a magnitude 12.1 object, making it visible in a moderately strong telescope.
His daughter portrayed his mother in the movie Chaplin. The accomplished actress, Geraldine Chaplin, is Charlie’s daughter with his last wife Oona. In the 1992 Hollywood movie adaptation of Charlie Chaplin’s life, Chaplin, she portrayed Hannah Chaplin, Charlie’s mother.

Mother Teresa
Mother Teresa told Princess Diana "to heal other people you must suffer yourself."
Mother Teresa spread the word to President Ronald Reagan about a famine. After he got the word, the U.S. government hurried to Ethiopian (where the famine was) with food and medicine.
Mother Teresa’s sari (outfit) only cost $1.00. It was really simple.
Mother Teresa said," Being unwanted is the worst disease that any human being could ever experience."
When Mother Teresa travels in airplanes she collects leftover food from people on the plane. She gives it to the poor and hungry.
Mother Teresa was the smallest nun in her convent. She was 5’ tall.
Mother Teresa’s brother Lazar Bojaxhiu said, "We lived next to the parish church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Sometimes my mother and sisters seemed to live in the church as they did at home. They were always involved with the choir, the religious services, and missionary topics."
Mother Teresa and the Missionaries of Charity collected food for the poor people in Calcutta every day.
She started with only her three saris and a five-rupee note....
The sisters are in the most unlikely places on every continent. Mother teresa was once asked if there was any place she had not reached. She replied with a laugh,
'IF THERE ARE POOR ON THE MOON, WE SHALL GO THERE TOO!'
On March 13, 1997, Mother Teresa stepped down from the head of Missionaries of Charity and died on September 5, 1997, just 9 days after her 87th birthday. Following Mother Teresa's death, the Holy See began the process of beatification, the second step towards possible canonization, or sainthood. This process requires the documentation of a miracle performed from the intercession of Mother Teresa. In 2002, the Vatican recognized as a miracle the healing of a tumor in the abdomen of an Indian woman, Monica Besra, following the application of a locket containing Teresa's picture. Monica Besra said that a beam of light emanated from the picture, curing the cancerous tumor. Mother Teresa was formally beatified by Pope John Paul II on October 19, 2003 with the title Blessed Teresa of Calcutta. A second miracle is required for her to proceed to canonization.
