Why do you Gossip?
Is there healthy gossip and unhealthy gossip?
Here are my view points.
Yes, I do gossip. I read gossips about bolly and holly stars. I enjoy reading gossips.
I am ethical but sometimes forget about my ethics and participate in gossips when I am among groups.
Knowingly or unknowingly I gossip about my cousins on the phone. I come back to my sense and then say "leave it, why are we talking about it?'
It is hard for me to differenciate gossiping and discussing about others.

Sakshi, even I am fan of bollywood gossips.
When I am among social groups everyone talks about who is not present for get together. Things like X is a good cook but her soup sucks and sort of things but I am not sure if that is gossiping.

I gossip very rarely about my boss. She hate any womens talking to 2 mens in our group. They are on handsome side and she will always rave about them and touch them whenever possible. See I have started gossiping about her. I think I gossip about her out of anger as my boss wants all the attention in this world.

I rarely gossip. Because my daily routine is like this I never get any time to gossip. But when I am at home I love to gossip with my mother and my friends on phone.

Hmmmm me too gossip here in NS which is healthy gossip. But so far as other gossips are concerned now a days I have reduced it to the core. That is why I have said rarely I gossip. And like Bhawana we do not have time to gossip. In office I have made the circle very short so no time and nothing much to gossip about but in my earler office I use to gossip a lot. I am happy that I have come out of that.

i think interaction is known as gossip here otherwise we are all involved in our life always and want to spend sometime sharing what we know on any known subject that i do not consider gossip but a healthy chat

Sunkan, you did not make me feel guilty sharing infromation about others. I think sharing information and gossiping are two different things and sometimes too much or false sharing of information may lead to gossiping.

As a decency I would say I dont gossip but I talk about others in 2 situations. I talk about people I love and I hate.
I guess I gossip about people I hate and talk about people I love.
