Posting Contents from other sites

Please do not copy and paste contents from other sites. Please abide by the copyright rules of the owner of the content.
This is the platform to discuss and share our knowledge. Copying and pasting content from other site kills all the discussion and offends our sakhis who are putting in efforts to write the content of their own.
If you find any post or blogs which has been copied from other sites Please PM me with the link to the forum and if possible the website from where it has been copied. Thanks

Nice initiative Laxmi,
Me being the webmaster of another website, have always found people doing the same copy pasting. People dont realize that the website administrator and the webmaster becomes liable for the copied content.

Sakhis, We have to abide by the rules of copyright policy. Please do not copy and paste photos from other sites. Check their copyright policy before pasting pictures.
Please do not copy and paste photos and contents from other sites. From March 1st, 2010, any photos or contents copied from othe sites will be deleted.

I feel this policy has to be strictly enforced. Actually I feel such material has to be deleted ASAP!

Also I have noticed that only a very few do this. A strict warning has to be issued to this person as this is not a good for our site.

Just my opinion. This message might also have to appear in the top like a banner if possible.

I agree with Anita, We should not be pating pictures from other site. It is copyright issue.

yes,this should be a strict rule.i copied a picture yesterday for the first time as i thought others are doing in threads,so it is ok.i have also made it a point not to do so in contests.i try to post the original picture done by me or else i dont post any.

Hello narisakhi members,
Iam mithila kannan.I write and post in another website also.I tried all along to write different posts in both the other website and our narisakhi as well.But it ias difficult .What I want to know is can I post the same thread or blog in both the websites simultaneously?ofcourse one cannot post a blog that one has posted for a contest,that can be posted only in one website in which you are participating in a contest.Otherwise is it ok if I post the same blog in both the sites written by me ofcourse.Please do let me know,I am keen to abide by the rles of the website.
