Certain sentences or proverbs are so true in our life. One of such is “Keep trying in life to get success don’t promise because promise often breaks”.Do you believe in this sentence? I believe in this as trying means always you search for different ways and means and then you reach to success. To give a try is a continuous process and boosts your energy level. Once you promise you have to do it. When you break your promise you feel bad your mood goes off and so on. But when you say I tried but could not make it you have the satisfaction that atleast I have tried.

Pranati, keep trying in life is a booster. If at all you are depressed and demotivated, you can motivate by saying this to yourself or motivating someone else.. it is true to some extent. If you give up in between, you will not get success.

it depends on the situation. if you dealing with very difficult person and you keep trying thinking that you will get success, you will go insane. It depends on situations.

Thank you sharon for your words. I feel keep trying means what you want in life it is to every respect not to a particular person or situation. Like for example you say your goal in life. Keep on trying till you achieve it in life. Same way you want something keep on trying. It works for me.

Manda when people promise something they have to keep it. You promise to your son/daughter to come early and take them out for shopping means at any cost you have to be there by the time you have promised. Suppose some urgency comes and you are late. Children will be disappointed that my mother did not keep her promise and you feel bad. Suppose you say I will try my level best and come is fine. But if you dont come also you can justify but when you make a promise and dont turn up you cannot even justify yourself. That is what is the difference.

And I do not agree with your next "don't promise because promise often breaks". Promise increases trust. When not able to keep up, then don't promise. Most of the businesses run under promise only...

But better to try for positive things , never spare time in negative aspects, as to be happy means to be positive...
and one thing more we need to learn everything here only so keep trying so that you can be busy and active....
Those who believe in own effort never wait for the promise...they just go forward and forward....in my opinion to give promise or to wait for promise is really hard and unnecessarily suffering will be there ...so try your best , and perform well without stress...as if you'll go with promise to perform any where it's fine but mind will always point to promise...so if you want to consider promise in your life style take it as energy booster :)

Keep trying is good if you know what you are trying for, you have weighed the pro and cons of it, you have to give it a time limit, your approach to it should be goal oriented, your limitations towards what you are trying for, your positive points and how much you can enhance it, your negativites, are you working hard to overcome them and turn it as strength as these can make result achieving more harder, your second option, your second route, you cannot keep walking the same path, if you are not getting the result, goal can be same, but paths have to differ, if results are not obtained, at the same time are you ready to give up your integrity if wanted, if yes, then fine, if no, then what! You have wasted a few years of your life. alternate goal is also important....

Yes, promises are made in business, some run on trust some on paper, but it is vital to promise and keep it up. Just promising does not build trust, it GIVES HOPES... If hopes are shattered, depression can enter your life...

Promise and keep it up, else, be straight, you may be called rude or whatever, but you will finally end up with a name of trustworthy. He/ she will never promise what he / she can never do.. is more better than otherwise.

Promise is a big ladder for others to cast their hopes, so do not keep this ladder in mid air with nothing to hook on.. it can break hearts and hopes...

Certain promises are like vows, in marriages and love, sometimes the whole thing goes kaput, then it is no point in holding on to those promises, it is time to MOVE ON.....

This is a very deep subject and cannot be discussed so easily...
