Dowry system still exists in our society. It is taken and given in the form of land,gold, money, and expensive gifts. What is your opinion on dowry system,. Please cast your votes and give FB's on this poll.

Dowry system is a curse on Women and Women has been suffering on this issue for centuries now. It was started as a financial security for Womens and to support them. Now it is a means of harrasement for Womens by In-Laws and hubbys who says" I am against dowry,but my mother believes in all this traditions"

If every Women and men take the pledge against dowry, I am sure coming generation will forget the word dowry.

I am against dowry system, either way. People who like to flaunt money give expensive gifts to their children and other people has to listen to taunts and harrasement from their In-Laws.

Yes I am in favour of this system think....

I am a girl I have the right to have share of my right from my parents and if I have been a boy then does my parents have not given me my rights in their property.

So Girls do have the right to share the property of parents.

But it should come to the name of the girl only for her uses and not a right of in-law-family.

No for dowry either way give or take. Dowry is curse for womwns as some womens has to suffer in their life time. I know one doctor from our town broke the marriage on the day of the wedding as he did not get car. He is known as "doctor who wanted car from his wife" Hardly people know him by his name,

No I am not in favour of this Dowry System.
This system should be kicked out from our tradition.

same on us still we have this system. There should be strict laws and there should be do not give and do not take policy. Our government should put a ban to this. Its a dreaded disease everyone hates it to the core. But still we do not have any cure for this.
