I got this tips from my friend . I want or share with you.
1. Develop hobbies and interest that don't eat up too much money. Take up hiking, gardening, start a book club. Consider developing income-producing hobbies such as wood working or free-lance writing.
2. Use your local library more, instead of bookstores. Start a book exchange at work, where collegues bring in and trade books.
3.Eat before you go to the movies,so that you are not tempted to pay for a tub of popcorn.
4. Rent movies instead of seeing them at expensive first-run theatres. Go to discount matinee-showings at first run theatres.
5. Reduce, reuse and recycle. you can get a few dollars when you recycle some things.reduncing and reusing can also save some greenbacks.
6.Consider dropping your cable TV subsciption. At the very least, drop 1 or more premium channels.
7.Try bartering. You may be able to negotiate some free hair-cuts for drafting your hairdresser's will.
see what your friends can do for you and what you can do for them.
8.Toss out the advertising supplements that paid your Sunday paper unless you really need to buy something. Otherwise you will end up buying unnecessary things.
9.Don't buy magazines regularily at the newsstand. Subscriptions are much cheaper. Better still, read magazines at the library or online.
10.E-mail friends and relatives sometimes instead of phoning.
11. Lower your long distance phone rates. You should able to get the carrier to meet or beat the best deals offfered by competitors.
12.Call folks at your credit card company and negotiate a lower interest rate. If they balk, tell them you'll take your business elsewhere.
13. Negotiate you mortgage rates and dont foegt to pay your bills on time to avoid finance charges

Look for sale and special deals on grocery. YOu can form a group where everybody can share the deals they get in their area. you get grocery at cheaper price if you buy it in wholesale. Make a group of 4 to 5 people and buy rice, potatoes, wheat, sugar, onions in a large quantity and then split up. This way you buy at wholesale rate and you dont have to spend lot of money at one time.

You can use your skills and take advantage of the season. When fruits like mango, strawberry, pineapple are cheap, prepare jams and jellies and store for off season. Sometimes you get tomatoes at a very cheap price, take the opportunity and make sauce, salsa. When you get lemons at cheap price prepare concetrated lemon juice with sugar and store. It comes in very handy to serve in summer for last minute guests.Even vegetables like peas, beans can be freezed for off season.

Destroy extra credit cards. Keep only limited credit cards to avoid overspending.
Destroy latest or new credit cards as your old credit cards will help you build the credit history.
Destroy cards which has monthly charge and high APR.

Yes Sharon very true. We need to save for the rainy day. I have not bought a lunch bag for my office. I always stitch it at home. Either a cloth bag or crochet bag. My gifts for any occasion for my friends are handmade shawls, stoles, dress materials or wall hanging something like that. You can avoid many things this way.
