since long i wished
to have you in craddle of my arms,
i prayed and prayed ,
for years in tears,
thought why me?
god why me ?
so many unborn angels are killed
and you are speechless-
why cant i have one for myself?
atleast one from your bundles of -
unwanted forbidden babies!
since long........
my dream came true!
from nowhere came YOU !
with all my prayers,my tears,
my love and charms!
my sweet little angel.....
you are in the cradle of my arms!
your sweet smile,
the touch of your little fingers,
your little little steps,
inocent gestures,
are all my assets!
dear god,
i once again pray!
let no other kill a pari like mine,
or give her a craddle of love as you gave me!!

Jyoti, Very touching poem "Let no other kill a pari like mine" has wide meaning. It means do not abort a girl child, do not kill a women over dowry issue or any otehr issue, etc. Your poem say a lot other tahn what I have mentioned. Thanks for your posts.

this is what my heart speaks when ever i hold my daughter.after waiting for long years ,finally we adopted a newborn girl.believe me,i was so happy that it is a girl rather than i would have been if it was a boy.this was my dream to have a girl child.i really feel than all childless couples,if you have waited for your child,take a step ahead and adopt a girl.there would be showers of love and happiness in your home.
