here is anotehr method to make yogurt at home
Whole Regular Milk: 1 Quart, or you can use fat free milk, 2 tablespoons Dried whole milk powder(optional, this increases thickness of yogurt), 1/4 cup Starter Culture(starter culture you can buy good quality from the market or from your neighbour). Save ¼ cup from this batch for your next batch.
Method
Stir in dried whole milk in regular milk. Heat milk in a heavy bottom pan to boil stirring continously to avoid burning. 2. Turn off heat. Let it cool to tepid warm. Remove one cup of milk. Add starter culture. Mix well. Return to the main body of milk and stir well. Keep it in a warm place undisturbed for 6 to 8 hours. You can store it in the refrigerator for about two hours before using.
