You may be allergic to soap or any detergents you use for cleaning. Make sure you wear gloves handling any chemicals and doing any cleaning work. Avoid working with water for a long time.

Massage your hands with olive oil at bed time. This will keep your hands moisturize for a long time. Avoid harsh chemicals. Some people are allergic to latex gloves. My friend was allergic to latex gloves. She had itching sensation after using gloves. This was followed by dry skin.

Hi,

Let me give you a simple tip. Just keep a hand lotion ready near the wash basin or in the work area. As soon as you finish your work there apply that and leave for it to get dry. Then wash it off.

Hand lotion:

2 tbsps lime juice , 2 tbsps glycerine and 2 tbsps of rose water. Mix them together and keep it. It will stay without getting spoilt for 3-4 days. You can keep it inside the refrigerator also.

Just massage your hands lightly before you wash it off. You can see how easily you get the soft and smooth skin on your hands and feet.
You can apply this on your feet and wash it off, before going to bed in the night.

Hi misty,

You can try the lotion out or apply olive oil in the night as soon as you wash your hands after the work gets over. Massage when the hands are moist. Just leave it like that for the night.

Once in a while use the scrub for your hands also. Easy scrub for the hands are sugar and lime juice. You can get the soft hands back. I got it and I am sure you can too.

A little attention gives you a lot of result, you will see that for yourself.

I appreciate all the tips here.

Also remember to dry your hands neatly, I have seen women who play with water and let the hands dry on its own.

Very valuable tips gals. Avocado also helps for dry skin. You can apply avacado to hands. Certain locations avacados may be costly to apply on hand. You can rub skin of avacado on hand and nails. It will give you soft hands along with shiny nails.

How about rubbing some coconut oil on hands before going for a bath ?? I guess it would retain some moisture on hands and stop dryness
