lighting lamp

Some people use different oil and ghee(clarified butter) to light lamp. Different oil on different days. I use cooking oil and ghee on occasions like Diwali, puja, etc.
Is there any logic using different oils on different days?

Yes, it is directly related to some course of our life.


For having a balanced life under tiring conditions that is no dearth of cash for shelter and living use Pure Ghee. You wil have coins jingling for the need, even it means we have to cut corners.

If you are looking for name and fame use Castor Oil to lit the diyas.

If you use refined oil to lit diyas, you will be under constant tension, depression, debts with unhappiness hovering around all your life.

If you use Sesame Oil, it will negate poverty.

If you use Castor Oil + Coconut Oil + Neem Oil to lit the diyas, you will have name, fame and prosperity.

Mals, Thanks for informative posts. One of the other advantage of lighting lamp, it purifies the air. It makes environment very postive.

yes surekha,and when you lit a lamp,you find yourself into a meditative phase.when you concentrate at the LAO /LIGHT of the lamp,you feel vibrations.TRATAK IS MASTERED by this meditation.the light of lamps is so hypnotysing.that is why diwali is the most favourite festival.amavas ki raat ko bhi jagmaga dete hain.
