I like to wear lipstick as part of my everyday make up routine. Any tips on applying lipstick quickly and efficiently.

These are the tips to apply lipstick without mirror. You need to practice it before you apply it in reality.
Open your mouth. While your mouth is open, use your dominant hand to position the lipstick so it's in the center of the bow of your upper lip. Put one of the fingers of your free hand above the lipstick as a guide.
Draw a half heart from the tip of the bow, then trace the top of your lip to the edge our mouth while using your guiding fingertip to keep the makeup in place. Repeat this procedure on the other side of your top lip.
Next, place the lipstick in the center of your bottom lip. Trace the lipstick to the edge of your bottom lip. Repeat for the other side of your bottom lip. Rub your lips against each other to give uniform spreading.

Define your lips with lip liner and fill in the lips with lipstick. To last lipsstick longer on the lips,apply lip gloss on the lipstick.

After applying lipstick, put a thin layer of vaseline with your finger tip on the lipstick to give glossy texture to your lips

Use branded quality lipstick or herbal. Do not sacrifice your lips for color.

Devika, you have posted important point. Never sacrifice quality for money when it comes to cosmetics.

Many of the beauticians i have seen they see if the texture of the lips is hard if yes then they moisturize or soften the lips with lip balm. Then draw the outline with the lip liner. Then fill the colour carefully.If the colour tend to smudge into the surrounding skin then they blot it with tissue paper and later they apply a lip gloss for shiny look.

just want to share what i have seen they usually blend two colours to get a good result.

Gauri good one. Moisture is very important but when I use lip balm as a base, it get very difficult to apply lipstick, any tips.
