• Date almond laddoo

    These bite-sized treats are powerful nutritious snacks which are best for winter time.
    You can use any nuts of your choice like cashews, pistachio, and almonds. Walnuts are high in omega-3 fatty acid content, as well as their antioxidant and phytosterol. Fiber-rich dates, cinnamon, cardamom, and dry ginger provide warmth to the body.



    Ingredients
    Dates 2 cups
    1/4 cup Walnuts
    1 cup Almonds
    1 tsp Dry Ginger Powder
    1 tsp Cinnamon Powder
    1 tsp Cardamom Powder
    1 tsp Ghee/Vegan Butter
    Toasted sesame seeds (optional)
    Sweetened Coconut (optional)


    Method:
    Clean and deseed dates. cut into big pieces
    Crush Almonds, walnuts and nuts of your choices.
    Add Dry ginger powder, Cinnamon Powder and Cardamom powder.
    In a pan take ghee/butter and let it melt.
    Add dates to the pan.
    Keep on stirring on low heat. This will take 5-7 minutes for dates to melt or break pieces.
    Put off the flame and add dry fruit and spice mix.
    Mix it thoroughly to form a dough.
