Chandrayan found water on the moon sometime in September and NASA announces the same on nov 13th that there is water on the moon all because the moon mineralogy mapper M3 was designed specifically to search water, by NASA.

The discovery (by INDIA) was very significant, considering water on the moon could be used by astronauts living on the planet to drink, extract oxygen to breathe and use hydrogen as fuel. The finding was billed as most exciting breakthrough in at least a decade.

But get this - a popular American blog goes on to rant, "As fellow space enthusiasts, our hats go off to NASA and the men and women behind the successful mission. Hopefully this is only the beginning of something even bigger than ourselves."

The American media went crazy with appreciation as the rather oddly jovial official statement by NASA read, "the mission successfully uncovered water during the Oct. 9, 2009 impacts into the permanently shadowed region of Cabeus cater near the moon’s south pole.

Never mind who designed what or how…don’t you think due respect ?????...official thanks..and perhaps one day when they get to live on the moon they will drink water, make oxygen for breathing, preparing dishes…perhaps bathing too..all because of me..?

Ive been doing my little bit all these years and NASA gets the benefit and poor me ….indian at that…not getting my due share /credit.

I know you don’t believe it…what with your gaping jaw…!!.see what I’ve been doing for years just as I did it today…wake up at 5.a.m. that’s my usual time…brush…oh never mind the tiny weeny bits of morning info…and then I water the plants with a hose pipe from the well (I’m saying this lest you think I wasted metro water ).

When I water the plants I do spray some on their top too like rain just close the outlet a little and out comes a spray of gushing water…the plants must be excited too as they drip drip a little of water…ooops I forgot what I came to say…ah yes …while watering the plants there I see dear moon out on his (or her???) morning walk on the skies sometimes with a white cloud to drape….maybe he is thirsty I think and spray some on the moon too…and smile…surely it reaches the moon everyday…and having sprayed water on the moon all these years and sometimes on the sun too when I get to see him evening while watering the plants and he gets a fresh spray too…he must be thanking me..what with his beaming orange twilight as he goes to rest???

Now this watering the moon habit got contagious and my dh used to do it, my sons too follow it…my sis too says she loves the sight…

Now what say you…don’t I get a little bit of credit for the water on the moon….who knows I might just be saving up water there just like carbon credit….you plant a tree here for some one faraway and get money making trees…!!!!
