Hence, it is important to take proper care of your nails and keep them clean and tidy. However, if you spend little time on your nails every day at home, I am sure after that you'll love to flaunt them wherever you go.

A proper diet is not only required for your hair and skin but for your nails too. It keeps your nails polished and healthy. Take plenty of water and include lots of fruits, vegetables and salad in your diet.

Take a bowl containing warm water and add a few drops of lemon juice into it. Dip your nails into it for 20 minutes. It will make your nails soft, strong and long. Do it twice a week.

If you are in a habit of nail biting, stop that immediately. This does not only spoils your nails but is also very harmful from health point of view.

It is good to wear nail polish but give your nails a break from time to time, as nails also need to breathe, otherwise, they will develop an ugly yellow tint.
