I am posting this on behalf of Julianna

Please do accept my sincerest apologies for the massive delay in carrying forward the blazing torch of the EYC series. Unfortunately my Net connection was playing hide ’n seek and this coupled with my total lack of knowledge of the intricacies of picture posting rersulted in the current fiasco.To some extent I hope I have salvaged the situation.Thanks to our guide and mentor Naarisakhi and supportive pals like AC and Sundari I have managed to complete it .

Now to get started….the rules remain the same.

Language should be go with the rules of the site, no vulgar, obscene language will be entwined in the prose or poetry.
Copied and pasted from other sites is not allowed. We encourage orginal compositions, so go ahead and give your creative corner an upward swing.
One member is entitled to pen in more than one poem / prose.
The contest will close on 28 Feb 2010.
Contributions can be in English or Hindi.
Limit your prose / poem to 1000 words for easy loading of the posting

The theme for this EYC wiil be the feelings that are evoked when you see a rainbow in the sky.
This unique spectacle presented by Mother Nature would definitely be something all of us would have witnessed.Do invoke your MUSE to pen down your contributions in poetry or prose as you will.

जब कभी परेशानी होती है
आसमां को देख लेता हूँ
गम हल्का हो जाता है
मुस्कराहट छा जाती है
दिल पुकार उठता है
मेरा दोस्त मेरा आसमां

चित्रकार कोई अजीब
आसमां बना दिया
सुबह हो या शाम
दिन हो या रात
सूरज चाँद
टिमटिमाते तारे
कभी बादल कभी बारिश
कोहरा कभी कभी इन्द्रधनुष
